Athlone Towncentre car park goes ticketless with easytrip parking.
Mobility solutions specialist, easytrip, Ireland’s only electronic parking and tolling tag provider, has added the Athlone Towncentre Euro Car Park to its parking service portfolio, providing a ticketless parking solution for visitors to the centre.
How easytrip parking works.
The easytrip parking service offers cashless and hassle-free parking to customers with the use of an electric tag, with no need to take a ticket or queue at the paying station. The easytrip tag is scanned on entry and exit to the car park and the fee is then automatically deducted from the tag holder’s account.

The Athlone Towncentre Euro Car Park offers 1,200 car parking spaces with weatherproof underground parking and e-car charging facilities available. Opening hours are from 06:00 to 19:30 Monday to Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 06:00 to 21:30, Saturday 06:00 to 19:30, and Sunday and Bank Holidays 11:00-19:00.
New and existing easytrip customers can sign up for parking by calling easytrip on 1890 67 67 68 or by logging onto easytrip. Easytrips parking service is available at locations across Belfast, Cork, Dublin, Galway, Kerry, Kildare, Kilkenny, Limerick, Louth, Waterford, and Westmeath and can be accessed with the easytrip App. With the easytrip tag drivers can also save €1 on M50 toll fees and avail of additional easytrip services including breakdown assistance and Puncture Protect.
