George Corbett Motors – ŠKODA Dealer of the Year 2022

George Corbett Motors were awarded the coveted “Škoda Dealer of Year 2022” at a recent ceremony in Prague. In addition to the overall award, George Corbett Motors also swept home with category awards for; Best Aftersales Dealer and Best Financial Services Dealer 2022.

Speaking at the awards ceremony John Donegan, Brand Director, ŠKODA Ireland said “To be awarded ŠKODA Dealer of the Year requires not only outstanding commercial achievements but exceptional customer service.  The Team at George Corbett Motors have demonstrated this in spades over the last twelve months. I would like to congratulate George and his team and thank them for their continued success”

George Corbett Motors has served the Waterford area since it commenced trade on the Park Road twenty eight years ago. Due to increased expansion George Corbett Motors relocated to the Cork Road in 2003. George Corbett Motors was appointed a ŠKODA dealer in 2016 and revitalised the brand in Waterford, increasing the share from 3% to nearly 9% in 2022! George Corbett Motors is prominent in the local community and enjoys associations with Waterford GAA and Bohemians’ Soccer Club.

I would like to give credit to the unseen team in finance and administration, our aftersales team, including our technicians, valetors and apprentices who work hard to prepare and maintain our customer’s vehicles. Receipt of this award is confirmation of the high customer standards we have implemented at George Corbett Motors. In particular, I would like to acknowledge the efforts of our Škoda Brand Manager Stephen Moore, our Aftersales Manager Fran Kehoe and our Business Manager Trevor Harris.

The Annual ŠKODA Dealer of the Year is awarded based on a selection of criteria most notably: Customer Satisfaction and Mystery Shopping Surveys in Sales and Aftersales, Annual Audit ISO 9001 accreditation and commercial key performance indicator achievements.
