JAGUAR MOVES FROM A 3 TO A 5 YEAR WARRANTY.

JAGUAR MOVES FROM A 3 TO A 5 YEAR WARRANTY.

Jaguar is launching a new five-year warranty across its entire vehicle range, including the all-electric Jaguar I-PACE and all mild or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.

This decision means that Jaguar is the first luxury-car company to extend its warranty period beyond the industry-standard three years. For five years, or 150,000km, whichever comes first, Jaguar will repair or replace manufacturing defects according to the warranty regulations in material or workmanship, completely free of charge. And with the smart combination of InControl Remote, which optimises breakdown assistance and includes automatic emergency calls and the ability to remotely interact with your vehicle from anywhere, it makes life easier when it really counts.

A modern luxury product offering, and customer experience is at the core of Jaguar Land Rover’s Reimagine strategy. The introduction of a 5-year warranty for all new Jaguars represents an important step towards excellence in service experience, providing Jaguar customers enhanced peace of mind throughout their ownership.

Jaguar’s comprehensive Warranty means five years of freedom and reassurance for owner-drivers, fleets and private users alike. It offers transparency in servicing and running costs and further solidifies the value proposition what is already a compelling product line-up.

Jaguar expect the new five-year warranty to have a positive impact on the residual value of every vehicle in the range. This spells good news for customers as strong residual values ultimately translate into lower monthly lease rates.

Eddie Kavanagh, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Ireland  said:  “The prolonged new car warranty shows the confidence in quality and reliability in Jaguar Cars and has the potential to uplift Jaguar’s RVs by up to 2%. Moreover, there will be customer benefits in assurance of cost certainty and predictability through reduced follow up cost because all or at least most of the potential parts are covered”.
