New Marketing Manager At Peugeot – Ms. Jana Solovjova.

NEW MARKETING MANAGER AT PEUGEOT

Gowan Distributors, PEUGEOT Importer in Ireland, is pleased to announce the key appointment of Jana Solovjova, to the position of Marketing Manager. Jana will be charged with overseeing a national marketing and communications strategy to ensure the PEUGEOT brand continues its strategic growth path. Jana takes up the reins from Emma Toner, who moves to Opel Ireland, acquired by Gowan Group in late 2019.

Jana comes to the company with a wealth of experience across a broad range of sectors, to include tourism, FMCG, professional services, retail and automotive. Digital and Communications Manager at Nissan Ireland for four years and having worked previously at the Maxol Group, Tourism Ireland and Diageo, Jana has proven strength in strategic planning, digital marketing, campaign management and public relations. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in International Business Development, a Bachelor of Science in Marketing & Tourism and a Diploma in Digital Marketing and Strategy from Dublin Business School.

The 2018 Digital Professional of the Year, Jana was a winner in the Irish Early Career Lincoln Recruitment Awards; the Lincoln Recruitment Awards recognises the outstanding achievements of emerging young professionals in Ireland, rewarding innovation and best practice across a broad range of professional sectors.

Originally from Tallinn, Estonia, Jana moved to Ireland in 2000. Happiest outdoors with her dog Sasha and spending time with partner Jamie, Jana enjoys travel, hiking, stand up paddle boarding and outdoor yoga.

Jana’s appointment comes at a time when the lion-brand is enjoying strong consumer interest across its multi-award-winning range of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Celebrating the recent crowing of the all-new PEUGEOT 208, Car of the Year 2020, the company is launching the all-new PEUGEOT 2008 SUV this month.
