Renault Group is Number One in October 2022 with a 17% Market Share.

Renault Group is Number One in October.

The Renault Group achieved the number one position in the overall market last month with a fantastic 17% market share. The Renault brand finished in 2nd position in the passenger car market and in the LCV market. In October, Renault Group was the number one besting-selling in the C-SUV segment.

The award-winning All New Dacia Jogger (pictured above) proved to be the most popular 7-seater on the market in October 2022, showing that Irish customers are looking for great value and bang for their buck. The Renault Arkana was the second-best selling model in the overall car market in October, a great achievement for the model just launched last year. Renault’s ever popular Clio was the number one best-selling model in the B segment last month and number three best-selling model in the overall car market. Renault Group is now number one year to date in the busy B segment.

Renault vans continued to maintain 2nd position in the market in October with a 19.2% market share. The Renault Master was again the number one selling van last month and the smaller Trafic finished in second position in its segment. Year to date the Renault Group is number five in the overall market with 7.4% share.

Mobilize Financial Services (MFS) Ireland, Renault Group’s in house bank, lent over €11 million in October, up 13% vs October 2021, with €4.25 million of that lent to local businesses and SMEs purchasing light commercial vehicles. MFS Ireland are continuing to offer new and more flexible terms on their PCP finance product catering for durations from 24 through to 48 months. Since the introduction of the new PCP flexible terms there has been a positive uptake on the extended durations, 50% of all PCPs since June are at durations higher than 36 months with the majority choosing 39 months.
