Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive is now available in Ireland
Tesla is excited to announce that Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive is now available in Europe. Customers in Ireland can now order our fully electric mid-size SUV, starting at €59,490 with deliveries starting in February 2023. Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive’s high-efficiency powertrain, aerodynamics and Tesla’s expertise in battery technology provide up to 455 kilometres (WLTP est.) of range.
Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive is our most affordable offering in the Model Y range. It comes standard with Autopilot, Premium Interior (Heated front and rear seats, Heated steering wheel…) and Premium Audio which includes 13 speakers, 1 subwoofer, 2 amps and immersive sound. Similar to All-Wheel Drive and Performance variants, the front trunk and split-folding second-row seats provide a max cargo volume of 2158 litres.
Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive connects with the Tesla Mobile app for unique, easy-to-access features like remote unlock, remote pre-conditioning, location tracking, Speed Limit Mode, and much more.
With a max charging rate of 170 kW and access to Tesla’s Supercharger network of well over 9000 chargers in Europe and to third party networks, future Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive owners will be able to travel seamlessly throughout Europe.
First Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive for Europe are being built at our Gigafactory in Shanghai.
