Tesla reaches 10,000 deliveries in Ireland, and new Model Y available to order now.

Today Tesla are announcing their milestone of 10,000 vehicles delivered and sold in Ireland. Having started the journey in Ireland in 2016, last year Tesla Model 3 was the most popular EV in the country. Currently there are just over 100,000 EVs in Ireland, with Tesla leading sales at roughly 10% of all EVs. The Irish government has indicated its aims to have 1 million EVs on Irish roads by 2030, of which Tesla expects to lead the market.

 

Today we’re also announcing the prices of its variants for the new Model Y, set to launch in the market from May for Launch Series, and June for further trims. The Model Y was the most popular vehicle in the world (of any fuel type) in 2023 and 2024. The launch of the new Model Y in Ireland is expected to further Tesla sales in the country, after a strong start to the year.
