Top 5 James Bond Cars of All Time from Carzone.

Bond wouldn’t be Bond without his cars. The movie franchise has featured some incredible models over the decades. From the humble Sunbeam Alpine in Dr No through to the iconic Aston Martin DB5 in Skyfall, Bond movies have always gifted our screens with some sensational vehicles. To celebrate the release of the highly anticipated No Time to Die, Carzone, Ireland’s ultimate motoring marketplace, has put together a list of the Top 5 James Bond Cars of all time.

Top 5 James Bond cars of all time:

Aston Martin DB5-

Films: Goldfinger, Thunderball, Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Casino Royal, Skyfall, No Time To Die

Without doubt the most famous bond car, the Aston Martin DB5 has been more synonymous with the 007 franchise than any other car. Starting with “Goldfinger,” this luxury GT has featured in seven bond movies in total so far. It almost always comes decked out with weaponry and gadgetry, including hidden guns, rotating plates, and ejector seats.

 2).  Lotus Espirit S1-

Films: The Spy Who Loved Me

Possibly one of the most memorable Bond moments off all time sees Roger Moore plunge his Lotus Espirit S1 underwater, transforming it into a submarine. If that doesn’t make it one of the best 007 cars, we don’t know what does.

3). Aston Martin V8 Vantage-

Films: The Living Daylights, No Time to Die

Following a short break in Bond films, Timothy Dalton stepped into the famous 007 shoes. Featuring in ‘The Living Daylights’ was a fully-equipped Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante which came loaded to the gills with choice weapons, including a rocket afterburner, hidden missiles, and hubcap lasers. This car is also expected to feature in “No Time to Die”.

4). Ford Mustang Mach 1-

Films: Diamonds are Forever

Another one of Bond’s most famous car chase moments was in the movie ‘Diamonds are Forever’ where 007 has the police hot on his heels with Tiffany Case riding shotgun in a revised Ford Mustang Mach 1 through downtown Las Vegas. He famously tilts the car onto its passenger side wheels while squeezing through an alleyway.

5). Toyota 2000GT Roadster-

Films: You Only Live Twice

Originally set to be a hard top, the Toyota 2000GT had to be converted in order to accommodate Sean Connery’s height. This car was cool before it became a Bond car, but the spy film series found a rather unique place in the Japanese sports car’s history.

Picture above is the Aston Martin DB5, which has appeared in an astonishing 7 Bond films so far.
