Peugeot Charges Ahead As Official Car Partner For Dublin GAA.

PEUGEOT CHARGES AHEAD AS OFFICIAL CAR PARTNER FOR DUBLIN GAA.

PEUGEOT Ireland has been announced as the new official car partner to Dublin GAA, in a three-year agreement across all four codes (Senior Football, Senior Hurling, Camogie and Ladies Football).

As part of the partnership PEUGEOT will provide a mixture of kit vans and passenger vehicles from its award winning range to Dublin players and teams. An important aspect of the partnership was to provide Dublin teams with greener, efficient vehicles thus, the fleet includes the latest electric and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models such as the 100% electric e208 and e2008, as well as 3008 and 508 PHEVs.

The official launch was held on January 19th at Parnell Park, attended by Dublin players: Niall Scully (Senior Footballer), Ronan Hayes (Senior Hurler), Nicole Owens (Ladies’ Senior Footballer), Aoife Whelan (Senior Camogie Player), Des Cannon, Managing Director at PEUGEOT Ireland, Luke Messitt, Sales Director at PEUGEOT Ireland and Sean Kearns, Head of Aftersales at PEUGEOT Ireland – a former Dublin Senior Hurler and Footballer, with 14 years on-field experience.

Commenting on the partnership, Des Cannon, Managing Director at Gowan Distributors Limited, PEUGEOT importers in Ireland said:  “We are absolutely thrilled to come on board as an official car partner to Dublin GAA.
