Tesla has now confirmed that the first deliveries and test drives for the eagerly awaited upgraded Model 3 will begin on 27th January for drivers in the UK and Ireland.
The benchmark for all electric vehicles returns in 2024, upgraded and enhanced, and improving on the strengths of its 2019 forerunner, delivering more impressive range and a quieter cabin — all at a more affordable price.
What’s new with the Upgraded Model 3?
- The exterior design has been upgraded with sharper body lines and surfaces tailored to reduce drag, improve wind noise and increase range. The vehicle also comes with sleeker headlights and two new colours: Ultra Red and Stealth Grey.
- Enjoy a quieter cabin with 360 acoustic glass, two rear USB C charge ports, and customizable ambient lighting. The 15.4” centre display is now more user-friendly, and second-row passengers get an 8” rear display for climate control, and entertainment.
- Range has been improved with the Rear Wheel Drive covering 344 miles or 513 km on a single charge, while the Long-Range All Wheel Drive can go for 391 miles or 629 km (420 miles or 678 km with Photon wheels). 250kWh charging speeds, reach up to 175 miles (282km) in just 15 minutes, and boasting an impressive 99.5% uptime, surpassing other UK electric charge point operators.
- The upgraded Model 3 also improves cutting-edge safety features for side-impact protection, building on its already stellar reputation as the world’s safest platform architecture.
The upgraded Tesla Model 3 has already been awarded the ‘Outstanding EV Award’ at Carwow’s ‘Car of the Year’ Awards 2024.
Prices for Rear Wheel Drive start at £39,990 or €42,990, whilst the Long-Range Drive start at £49,990 or €50,990.
