Experience Tesla in Ireland – Winter Roadshow.

This winter, Tesla will be hosting test drive events across a range of convenient locations across Ireland, from Cork to Athlone and more. As part of a continued effort to increase engagement within the Irish community, Tesla are looking for more locations in Ireland to educate on electric vehicles and the value they can bring to Ireland.  

Tesla has had a presence in Ireland since 2017, where it first opened its Tesla Centre Dublin in Sandyford with the new Cork site being its second Tesla Centre in the country which opened up in September of this year. The opening of this recent Irish location indicates Tesla’s continued investment in the area, as part of its mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.  

In recent years, Tesla has increased its sales in Ireland with record breaking sales and year-over-year growth, leading to the Tesla Model Y becoming the 2^nd most popular EV in the country. The Model Y is Europe’s best selling vehicle of any kind, and Tesla’s ambitions for Ireland are to continue this growth in the market.

Country Sales and Delivery Manager Melanie Naughton commented. “We’re extremely proud to be contributing towards this, and we’re continuing to invest in jobs, infrastructure and upskilling our employees in the market as we go through this energy transition to electric vehicles.” 

To continue this growth, Tesla will be running a series of events and community engagement programs throughout the country in order to help facilitate this energy transition and to educate the public on the benefits of electric vehicles.

Visit Tesla in Ireland 

Tesla is a tech company that applies 21st century thinking to car purchase and ownership, which the Tesla Centres support. All car purchases are done online, regardless of whether you are at home or choose to place an order in store with fixed pricing. Test drives can be arranged online in advance or organised on the day of a visit to a local Tesla Centre.  

With some of the highest safety ratings from third parties of any car, Tesla Model 3 and Model Y have award winning safety features and high Euro NCAP scores. Guests to the events can discover how they have been designed to guarantee maximum comfort even in the coldest seasons, try our latest Autopilot features on your local roads, or visit a Supercharger to learn how to charge on the go or enjoy in-car entertainment from the driver’s seat. Tesla Advisor’s will be on site at every location to answer any questions that you may have regarding electric vehicle ownership. 

Tesla also offers a unique service experience.  All service visits are arranged through the Tesla app, choosing a time and date where convenient to you. With remote information and diagnostics, Tesla can pre-diagnose the issue and, where possible, fix your car with a software update. If that isn’t possible, the Mobile Service Technician will turn up for your timeslot at your home or work location and, with your permission, can unlock the car remotely. If a service centre appointment is needed, you can arrange a contactless drop off of your car at your chosen location, without having to step inside the Service Centre.  

Supercharging in Ireland 

There are a total of 50 Supercharger stalls across 9 locations in Ireland. Superchargers are designed and built by Tesla, Superchargers charge in minutes rather than hours. Since the beginning of 2023, Tesla owners have Supercharged 6.9 million miles in Ireland, offsetting 2.4 million kilograms of CO2.
